You often hear of VIP proofs or VIP mint sets but it is not often you see one. This amazing VIP proof set was given to Sir Robert Bellinger the then Lord Mayor of London.

The wisdom is real collectors pick up full sovereigns but do clever collectors pickup half-sovereigns? that remains to be seen but there is recently more interest in older half sovereigns and there are few to go round. Many are as rare or even rarer than the full sovereign equivalents. The 1825 proof of record half has almost none know in the public sphere with few known in museum collections

The Music Legends series of coins has been one of the most successful releases of 2020. The series has been the first series from the Royal Mint to feature British Band legends and like the Bond series there are a variety of options and finishes including an enhanced finish available on the low mintage 2oz Gold and SIlver releases.
