Auction Consignment

We all think I wonder what great collectors owned our coins before we did and sometimes auctions can shed some light on this. The reality is that collecting needs change, we upgrade or sometimes downgrade coins and occasionally there is some unforeseen issue and we need to liquidate our precious collections.

The NNS auction consignment service can be used for all these reasons and provides a secure and easy way to liquidate these expensive assets and provide the cash to buy the next one or deal with issues as they arise.

If you wish to grade and consign to auction as one process that is often done and welcome. The auction house can be briefed in advance to expect items in and you can save the return postage costs from grading since the graded coins can go straight to auction.

There is no single auction house that is perfect for all types of material so at NNS we have selected two very different auction houses which we believe are great at what they do as our auction partners.

HERITAGE AUCTIONS

Heritage Auctions are the largest auction house in the world and provide a wide range of specialist auctions with a massive worldwide audience. Heritage can be good for coins that attract the interest of a worldwide audience.

Consign your coins to Heritage Auctions

Heritage charge buyers 20% of the hammer price and auctions are carried out in US$. Sellers have a special rate via Numistacker of 0% for coins that hammer at $3,000 or more and under that there is a 5% charge. There is a normal minimum of about £300 for a heritage lot (some exceptions may apply)
