NGC labels

You cant tell a coin by its label...not strictly true but nice labels can help to make a coin more marketable and appear different.

Choosing a label

The regular NGC label is the brown one (377) that goes on thousands of NGC slabs. If there is no reason to use a special label this is the one your coins will get. There are lots of reasons why your coin might end up with a non standard label.

First Releases designation usually gets a blue label, ancient coins get an ancient label, shipwreck coins can get a shipwreck label. When you submit be sure and open the label section and you can make a special label request there and will be shown a pic of the labels that match your search. There are Numistacker exclusive labels like Modern Sovereign, Britannia and Royal celebration and a stack of standard NGC choices as well.

NGC's own label information

NGC publishes every label it offers, with pictures. Their pages are the full list.
