How to get your coins graded by NGC from the UK

You don't need your own NGC membership. As an NGC authorised dealer in the UK, we send your coins to NGC for you, look after the paperwork and the journey there and back, and keep you posted at every step.

Five steps from your hands to a graded slab

  1. Register for a free accountOpen a free account on our grading site. It also gives you a free online collection manager, whether or not you send us anything.
  2. List your coinsAdd each coin with the value you declare for it. You see its tier as you go, and postage, packaging and VAT before you commit.
  3. Send them to usPack each coin in its own flip or capsule with the printed order sheet, and post it by a tracked, insured service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery. Or bring your coins to our office by appointment, or to a coin show we are attending.
  4. We send them to NGCWe check each coin against your list and send it to NGC, with NCS conservation if you want it. Follow your order in your account: we email you when your coins arrive, when they go to NGC and when your results are in.
  5. Your graded coins come homeOn average the whole service takes about two and a half months (as at October 2026). Your coins come back by DHL courier, Royal Mail Special Delivery or collection, and keep their grade and photos in your collection.

Questions people ask

Do I need an NGC membership? No. As an NGC authorised dealer we submit your coins for you.

Do you grade the coins yourselves? No. Every grade is NGC's own opinion; we look after everything around it.

Can you grade banknotes too? Yes. Banknotes go to PMG, NGC's sister company for paper money.

Are my coins insured? You choose for each coin. An insured coin is covered up to its declared value while it is with us and while it is at NGC.

Can I cross over a PCGS coin to NGC? Yes. You choose the lowest grade you will accept. If NGC would grade it lower, the coin stays in its PCGS holder.
