What happens when your coin is too big for a regular slab?
Then the fun starts. In fact all coins larger than 50mm are too wide to fit a normal size NGC slab. So 50.1mm you are out of luck and need an XXL size slab. Coins just a bit bigger than 50mm can look a little lost in a XXL NGC slab but once they get to say 5 or 10oz of SIlver or Gold they look perfectly at home.
NGC Slabs take coins up to around 1kg without much sweat (+£20) and if you have coins that are larger than 135mm in diameter the might need a rarely seen NGC mega slab,
NGC XXL Slabs are available to fit the larger coin. A smaller variety of labels are available for the larger slabs but they are an increasingly popular option for modern Royal Mint coins and larger Chinese Coins.
